Have become addicted to Slideshow Designer
Taking pictures was always a great hobby of mine, now that I can plug them into such great themes, with cool clipart and music, I seem to be spending more and more time uploading my pictures.

General Answers
1. I have been using a free trial version of WebSmartz and want to upgrade to a purchased version. How do I go about it, can I upgrade the current setup or do I need to download the application again?
Yes, you do need to download the application again. Click on the Purchase link and go through the short
purchase process. You will be then allowed to download the registered WebSmartz version. We will also send you the Registration Key. This is a number that you will be prompted to fill in during the installation process to activate your WebSmartz software.
2. Do I need to install Macromedia Flash on my system to view WebSmartz intros?
Top
No, you do not need any version of Flash installed. However you do need the Flash Player 6 plugin that can be easily downloaded from www.macromedia.com. Your client or viewer will also need this plugin installed for viewing your WebSmartz intro.
3. Can I burn these intros on a CD?
The intros can be burnt on CD but being in HTML, they will be displayed only in a Web browser and not
independently.
4. How do I install new Flash intro libraries?
Click on the New Intros link in our website. Preview and purchase the libraries you like. Now download the relevant libraries. Open the WebSmartz application. In the Select Intro style screen, click on the Import button next to Import New Library. Select your downloaded files and open them. This will automatically extract the new library files and install them in your WebSmartz application. They will now feature in your Select Library dropdown menu and can be used in creating intros.
5. How many Intro Libraries do I get with the WebSmartz purchased version?
Top
You get 4 Intro Libraries when you buy WebSmartz. There are more available for purchase and can be downloaded from the New Intro section in the website.
6. After purchasing WebSmartz, I had inadvertently uninstalled it. When I tried to re-install, it did not accept my registration key, what do I do?
Please contact us at helpdesk@websmartz.net with your personal details and we will send you a new registration key. During installation, copy and paste the new registration key and your WebSmartz software will run just fine. We apologize for the inconvenience but this feature has been put in to prevent unauthorized use.
7. Are there 2 ways of saving WebSmartz intros? The final screen prompted me to save my intro as an HTML file while the button in the top bar says "Save Project"; what does this mean?
When you save your intro by clicking the Save Project button, it gets saved in .wpx format. The .wpx format file can be opened, edited and re-used. In the final screen when you save intro files in HTML format, they cannot be edited for reuse. The HTML files are meant for plugging online to display your intros.
8. I am not able to use Website design fetaure in the downloaded trial version.
The Website design feature is available only in the Professional version, and the trial version is available only for the Home version, so you can try only the Flash Intros.
9. I am moving my files via ftp on to a Unix server. The flash intro file which works fine on my computer loacally, does not work properly on the Unix/Linux server.
The solution is to change all files and folders names in small letters / lowercase.

14. How can you be sure any connection is Secure?
